R&D Engineer
Location: Etten-Leur | Fulltime | HBO | Innovation & Product Development Devise the solutions that will be standard tomorrow. Our crop care robots, fogging systems, and cultivation systems are deployed worldwide to make greenhouse horticulture smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable. To develop our next generation of products, we are looking for an R&D Engineer. A creative technical professional who gets energized by new ideas, prototypes, and product development.
What will you be doing?
- Developing new machines, modules, and technical concepts.
- Researching and testing innovative technologies.
- Creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
- Developing mechanical designs and structures.
- Coordinating with software, electrical and project engineering.
- Translating market needs into technical solutions.
- Initiating product improvements.
- Solving complex technical challenges.
- Supporting the transition from R&D to product.

What do we ask?
- HBO working and thinking level.
- A background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
- At least several years of experience in product development, machine building or engineering.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills.
- Affinity with software, mechatronics and control engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor.
- Creativity combined with a pragmatic approach.
- The ability to turn ideas into concrete solutions.
