Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or a guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us via info@roburholland.nl and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
Robur Holland B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes, based on the legal ground ‘consent’:
- To be able to call or email you if you have filled out the contact form.
- To send the newsletters and mailings you have signed up for.

Robur Holland B.V. does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (such as an employee of Robur Holland B.V.).
How long we retain personal data
Robur Holland B.V. does not store your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
- When you contact us via our contact form, we need to be able to contact you. We retain this data for as long as necessary, depending on the purpose of the contact request, for a maximum of 2 years.
- If you have subscribed to the newsletter or given permission to receive personalised messages, we will retain this consent for 5 years. Even if at some point you decide that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, we will retain the withdrawal of your request. We only use your data anonymously, for internal reporting.
- We store the data we collect by means of Cookies (such as Google Analytics) for 26 months. This data allows us to optimize your experience on our website and keep track of your preferences.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Robur Holland B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Robur Holland B.V. remains responsible for these processing operations.

In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. How we secure personal data
Robur Holland B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. We have taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
